#DIY: Use Milk Jugs As Filler For A Large Planter
Using a large planter for trees or other big plants is a necessity.
However, that can get expensive with all the dirt.
Try using a filler at the bottom to create drainage and take up some of the space. Here we are using milk jugs and rock.

Items Needed:
- Milk Jugs
- Rock
- Dirt
- Plant or Tree
Directions:
1. Place your clean milk jugs in the bottom of your planter.
2. Put rock around the milk jugs to help with drainage.
3. Fill your planter with your dirt and plant of choice.
This is a totally successful Pinterest find. I was afraid that the milk jugs would collapse under the weight of the dirt over time but they never did.
My plant lives outside and is watered by the rain most of the time. She is a happy healthy plant! You should try this at home!
