#DIY: Using Shoe Polish As Stain On Wood
Use shoe polish as a cheap, easy, and simple alternative to stain. You can use any color or type you want.

1. Make sure your wood is washed and dry.
2. Use the rag to spread the shoe polish onto your wood.
3. The wood will soak up the shoe polish leaving you with a beautiful finish.
This was not greasy after I got done. There was no dry time and I could use my shelf as soon as I had finished staining it with the shoe polish. I highly recommend this life hack!
